This communication is an independent expenditure opposing Measure CC (official ballot label: Marin Healthcare District – Emergency Healthcare Funding Measure) on the November 3, 2026 ballot in the Marin Healthcare District. Yes on CC, Friends of MarinHealth is the yes committee — not the official name of the measure. (Older ordinance cite title, fine print only: Marin Safe and Reliable Emergency Healthcare Initiative.)
It is not a candidate advertisement. It does not ask anyone to vote for or against a candidate. It does not raise money for a candidate committee.

Facts we lock to
Ballot-book rate: 14¢ per square foot of improved building area, about $12.4 million a year for 30 years. Early vacant-parcel ($75) and multi-unit ($88 per dwelling) rates from the October 2025 notice of intent were dropped.
Framing: Measure CC is Double Crazy — a second 30-year claim on Marin roofs while the 2013 mortgage is still being paid; wants, not needs (~$24M surplus); dishonest signature gathering; hard to unwind.
